TAREK R. DIKA

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Toronto.

In 2016–2021, I was an Assistant Professor in the Program of Liberal Studies and a Faculty Member in the Program in History and Philosophy of Science at the University of Notre Dame, where I was also a Fellow in the Medieval Institute and a Concurrent Assistant Professor in the Department of Philosophy.

 

In 2013–2016, I was a Postdoctoral Fellow in the Michigan Society of Fellows.

I currently serve on the comité de lecture of Revue de Métaphysique et de Morale.

​

I recently completed a book on Descartes’s method (click here for promotional code) and I am currently writing a book on Heidegger and the possibility of ontology.
